Antique Iconic Art Deco Odeon Shape Lamp Opalescent Glass Shade 1920s 30s
Antique Art Deco English Oak Table Lamp with Opalescent Glass Shade. This Original period lamp has a iconic Art Deco look. The lamp finishes with its original cased white glass Art Deco shade that is mounted into an antique style new chrome gallery. The lamp has a modern safety chrome bulb holder fitted and modern earthed wiring. The finish of the wood is original and has a lovely aged patina. An original period lamp circa 1920s- 1930s. Please see my images for the best description of this rare & complete lamp. Overall height is 19 inches. The shade is 5 1/2 inches at its widest. The bulb holder is modern and earthed, has a safety button which means the switch will only work when a bulb is in place. The lamp is fitted with a modern cord grip under. The Gallery is a new vintage style but sympathetic replacement. The lamp takes one large bayonet bulb and is in full working order. There are of course marks from age and use but the lamp has a lovely Antique feel with some lovely Oak grain showing in places. The lamp has no burns and is in solid condition for its great age. Vintage original Art Deco 5 Slip Shape Ceiling Light Lamp Chandelier Lighting
Offered here is a superb Vintage Art Deco Slip Shade ceiling light complete with ceiling fixture or rose. Classic art eco styling with 5 striking caramel/crème colour glass slip shades. Measures 34 cm across the metal fixture, no including the glass shades. Fixture measures 46 cm from the bottom of the pendant drop to the top of the metal lattice. This measurement does not include the chain or ceiling’rose’. Will need to be installed/by a qualified electrician. Considering it’s age, I would still rate it as VERY GOOD. Metal component requires a repaint- a great DIY project for a wet weekend. Glass shades do have some very minor fleabites on the odd corner as one would expect from an original item of this age. Only one of these chips is on a corner where it can be seen- see last picture. Priced to sell- grab a bargain.
